UK: Teachers who refuse to promote gay marriage will lose jobs—the same will apply in NZ

Terry Wallbank's picture

Searching ‘gay marriage NZ’ on Google this morning revealed the usual 70% ‘in-favour-of-gay-marriage’ articles in the first 20 results. It doesn’t really matter which day you search, the results are usually the same, which raises the question—why?

gay marriage

To answer ‘why’ we need look no further than what Redbaiter wrote on TrueblueNZ the other day. In part, he said the following in respect to polls that always highlight the liberal agenda in a positive way:

"Questions can only be answered effectively if the respondent is informed on the issue. Let’s for example take an extremely simple illustration. If you asked a collection of five year olds if eating ice cream three times a day was a good idea, they would say yes. Because all they know is that ice cream tastes so good. They don’t know that there are serious side affects to loading up with sugar and dairy products.

Later on in life they will answer the question differently because by then, more responsible adults will have passed on information to them, and the youngsters have processed that information and therefore developed a different view to when they were five.

But here is the rub. If no one had given them this information, they’d probably still vote for ice cream.”

In those few words he succinctly answers the problem in respect to polls; however, the same words apply to every aspect of life under liberalism as there are very few adults left in this liberal world now to disseminate balanced, rational information. Even when children believe they have received balanced information and therefore are balanced themselves, they couldn’t be more wrong as we haven’t had balanced information since the late 60’s.

Children these days are being completely educated by liberals; they are getting educated by liberal mothers in ever-increasing-fatherless homes; they are getting educated in a school system that is primarily controlled by liberal feminists. After this level of liberal indoctrination, the media can be none other than liberal through and through—and this is why Google news results always show gay marriage in the affirmative.

Not one article written by a liberal critically analyses the merits and demerits of gay marriage on society in an impartial way. All you hear from them is ‘equalitiy-discrimination-fairness-love’ and nothing more; all you hear is the so-called ‘rights’ of the homosexual and nothing about the rights of anybody else; you don’t hear one word about how gay marriage is going to impact society. You don’t hear one word as they are incapable of critiquing anything as they were born liberal, raised liberal, educated liberal, read, watch and listen liberal—they are liberal.

You don’t hear about:

  • churches being forced into performing same-sex marriages against their will.
  • marriage celebrants being forced to perform same-sex marriages against their will.
  • tourist accommodation owners being forced to accept gay patrons against their concerns about health and hygiene.
  • gender-neutral toilets and changing rooms because of transgenders.
  • boy-scout organisations being forced to accommodate homosexual scouts and leaders.
  • the words mum and dad being banned from textbooks in order not to offend gays.
  • polygamy following on from gay marriage.
  • adoption agencies being forced into gay adoption against their will.
  • the ‘rights’ of thousands of adopted babies to have a mum and a dad being completely ignored.
  • the tax-payer being forced to pay for sex changes.
  • homosexual sex education being forced on children whose parents oppose it.

All of the above has happened overseas and will happen in New Zealand if/when gay marriage is passed. If I have missed any, please let me know.

Now we can add one more to the list; teachers who are opposed to gay indoctrination in schools will be forced to teach it, and if they don’t they will be fired or hounded out by liberals. Take my word for this; I’ve been in education for the last 14 years and have first-hand knowledge of how these people operate. They operate in the same thug-like manner as unionists do at the Ports of Auckland; if you don’t join them, they make life so uncomfortable you have to leave.

The Mail Online article below highlights just how gay marriage will result in dissenting teachers losing their jobs; this is just another way liberals will gain full control over education.

Mail Online article:

Registrars could be sued if they defy gay marriage law with teachers and hospital chaplains also facing claims

  • David Cameron is pressing ahead with draft law despite fierce opposition
  • Several cabinet ministers have indicated they would vote against it
  • Under draft law, gay couples will have right to marry in civil or religious ceremonies

The gay marriage Bill was launched yesterday amid fears that it fails to protect registrars, hospital chaplains and even teachers from being sued if they reject same-sex unions.

David Cameron is pressing ahead with the draft law despite fierce opposition from within his own ranks.

Several cabinet ministers have already indicated they would vote against the Bill and Defence Secretary Philip Hammond has raised concerns about the ‘robustness’ of protection for faiths.

Some senior Tories say the Prime Minister is in danger of splitting the party over the Bill just days after he managed to unite it by announcing a referendum on Europe.

Under the draft law published yesterday, gay couples will have the right to marry in civil or religious ceremonies if the faith in question chooses to carry it out.

Culture Secretary Maria Miller, who is also minister for equalities, said it would ensure ‘equal and fair’ treatment for gay couples.

She said: ‘Marriage is a hugely important institution in this country – one which has changed throughout our history, and continues to change. The values of marriage bind families and communities together.

‘In opening up marriage to same-sex couples we will further strengthen the importance of marriage in our society. This Bill protects and promotes religious freedom, so all religious organisations can act according to their doctrines and beliefs.’

Tory MPs who oppose the law say there is no guarantee that faith groups and public sector workers could not be sued under equalities legislation – and be defeated in the European Court of Human Rights.

Some argue that teachers and other staff who do not support gay marriage could be punished for failing to promote it. A Department for Education source claimed it may be difficult to prevent those with traditional views being dismissed. Read more

Footnote: In relation to liberal indoctrination in schools, I recently thought about doing a draughting course at Unitec until I found out one paper included the following:

“To enable the student be able to: present technical information orally to an audience, write memos, faxes and business letters, plan and write an organizational report plan and write a proposal for a business or consultation project, discuss the influence of Treaty of Waitangi issues on the construction industry.

What possible relationship can be drawn between the Treaty of Waitangi and draughting?

Right on the money again Terry - I can assure you from past experience from a family member. My Uncle was a JP and marriage celebrant at the time when the Civil Unions was forced into law. He was asked would he conduct civil unions by the "establisment" and he informed them he wouldn't. They then said you will or you will not be a JP anymore. To which he replied ok I wont be a JP anymore.

There is without doubt, a great deal of persercution coming to anyone who wont tow the liberal agenda.

Terry Wallbank's picture

Obsolutely, Changeiscoming, a great deal of persecution is coming. And the irony is this; liberals who are voting for this, are going to find out soon what exactly they voted for. But sadly, they will find out far far too late.

I agree. The problem, it seems to me, is that we have failed to maintain the distinction between "equality" and "uniformity". The former is about seeking to "make life fairer for all" (as if) and the latter requires the eradication of freedoms and the ruining of long-held customs, traditions and institutions. Sadly, the latter is well under way with the apparent blessing of most of us. How odd and sad.

"Sadly, the latter is well under way with the apparent blessing of most of us."

Mara, in today's post regarding a poll in the Herald the poll revealed young people are for change, and these young people are completely misinformed and naive. And because our populist politicians introduce legislation based on polls, it inderectly means our country is controlled by the young and naive. The politicians are completely ignoring knowledge--something only attained after years and years of worldly exposure.

Children want candy and candy they get--it's very very sad indeed.

Terry, it is too easy to blame populist politicians for their idiotic laws, although it has to be admitted that they are venal and stupid. We "old" people used to have some control over the idiocy of youth but we gave that away at about the same time that we first laughed at PC's encroachment.

mara's picture

Terry, who allowed the kids to have the candy? We did because we didn't take PC seriously enough when it cropped up. We saw its lunacy and laughed and laughed until it was too late alter the landscape. They won, we lost. Now what?

Terry Wallbank's picture

Mara, political correctness really is a problem, and yes the world laughed at it; they used to laugh it off as liberal stupidity but it was/is far more insidious than that; it is creeping communism.

Yes, we should have stamped it out before it got a foothold; and as you alluded to, the kids have totally bought into it.

My old blog was all about political correctness, and I used assist with material for an anti-PC organisation in the UK. And they used to give me some tips as they were far more politically involved than me. Anyway, they were the ones that gave me the heads up on John Key; they informed me just how PC the guy was well before I knew. I am completely amazed a PC liberal like him got to be leader of the National Party; the same can be said about Cameron.

John Key has gone so far left now, I can't see any difference between PC National and PC Labour, and we are stuck with it--yes that's our mistake.

Urban Redneck's picture

Mara makes an excellent point. I made the mistake of laughing at political correctness up until about 15 years ago. I thought it was a joke, only carried forward by joke politicians like Phillida Bunkle. In fact it was deadly serious.

As for Mr Key, I initially thought his support for Bradford's (Clark's by proxy) anti smacking bill was purely political, not ideological. Nowadays, I believe he supports it wholeheartedly along with euthanasia and homosexual marriage. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing - a despicable Fabian socialist.

Terry Wallbank's picture

Urban, I don't know if I've mentioned this to you before, but way back when Brash was leader of the Nats, he asigned a 'political-correctness-irradication' portfolio to Wayne Mapp. Then when Key turned up, he got rid of it. I wrote to him about my concerns relating to the removal of that portfolio and he (or one of his staff) wrote back saying political correctness wasn't a problem and it didn't warrant a portfolio. That said it all to me; the guy is a PC liberal through and through. As you say:

"He's a wolf in sheep's clothing - a despicable Fabian socialist."
