Liberal media patently distort truth in order to propagandise their leftist agenda

Terry Wallbank's picture

Biased msnbcIt has been factually proven that the Obama administration deliberately mislead the public over the Benghazi terrorist attack; for weeks they blamed the attacks on an anti-Islam video when within hours of the attack it was well known it had nothing to do with a video; it became evident within hours that it was an Al Qaeda-related attack. And the liberal media asked no questions; they kept spinning their leftist propaganda until they were forced to confront the truth when conservative media exposed the facts.

A few days ago, MSNBC, one of the worst offenders of liberal bias, egregiously propagandised their liberal agenda in respect to gun control—more on that below.

First, however, a little look at liberal media closer to home is called for—a look at the NZ Herald. A few weeks back they ran an article: Polls: Gay marriage, right to die get the tick in which the introductory paragraph read:

“New polls show New Zealanders support the terminally ill's right to die, think same-sex marriages should be legal and are largely happy with the current number of people immigrating.”

As a reader, reading this introductory paragraph, one would assume the article would be about euthanasia, gay marriage, and immigration. The problem with the article, however, was this: the article covered euthanasia and gay marriage but failed to mention a word about immigration—their liberal ‘multicultural’ agenda. In the introductory paragraph they use the words ‘largely happy’ but what do they mean without one word of evidence to support them? It means they are lying to hide the facts about their failed ‘multicultural’ policy.

They even omitted the immigration data in the poll they showed:

“POLL

Do you think that same-sex civil unions should be extended to marriage?
• Yes 53.9%
• No 38.1%
• Unsure 8%

Do you think doctors should be allowed by law to end an incurable patient's life, if the patient requests it?
• Yes 60.5%
• No 18.2%
• Depends on situation 16.2%
• Unsure 5.1%

Poll: Key Research. Commissioned by: Herald on Sunday”

Moving on to the MSNBC story; watch the video below and see how MSNBC conveniently edit a section of the video of what actually happened at a public hearing regarding the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. They conveniently editted it to make pro-gun supporters appear to be heckling a father of a murdered child—to make gun supporters appear evil. Liberals will stop at nothing; they will even ride in on the backs of murdered children just to promote their agenda.

The video that plays first, on the left, is what actually happened:

mrctv:

During a public hearing in Hartford on Monday, January 28th, Neil Heslin (father of a child murdered at the Sandy Hook Elementary School) spoke to Connecticut legislators. At one point, he asked gun rights supporters in the audience "Why anybody in this room needs to have an -- one of these assault-style weapons or military weapons?"

On Martin Bashir's program on MSNBC, the edit makes it appear that Mr. Heslin was arbitrarily interrupted by members of the audience instead of them responding to his question.

Martin Bashir later went on to say that Heslin was "interrupted by the cries of a heckler".

Heslin spoke for a total of fifteen minutes, twenty-nine seconds and the audience response to a direct question from him lasted for less than six seconds of his time. Source
