Len Brown wastes $100,000 of your rates’ money on gay parade

Terry Wallbank's picture

Len BrownIn a recent article, TVNZ, in part, reported the following:

“The event which celebrated the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community was last held in 2001, and was then known as the Hero Parade.

But it stopped after running into financial difficulty.

However corporate sponsorship and $100,000 from the Auckland Council got the event back on its heels and it was a family friendly event this time round.”

So, yes, Len Brown has just wasted $100,000 of your hard-earned money on nonsense like this:

Herald video

Len Brown: “This is an historic occasion and this city is uniting in the spirit of what we can do, not what we can’t do.”

Besides the obvious imagination-less ‘can do’ copy from Obama’s playbook, Brown is saying let’s celebrate diversity; let’s embrace it; let’s celebrate sodomy; let’s celebrate AIDS; let’s celebrate male on male sexual promiscuity; let's celebrate genital diseases; let's celebrate gay depression and alcoholism; let’s celebrate the promotion of homosexuality; let’s celebrate moral degradation; let’s celebrate…………………..at your expense.

Based on the opposition to gay marriage, I would suggest that over 50% of Aucklanders would not like to see their rates’ money squandered on stupidity like this especially when Stuff, in part, reported:

“Rates increases, dog registration fee rises, a multi-million dollar land sale as well as increasing debt by nearly $1 billion are all part of Auckland Council's Draft Annual Plan which has now gone out for public consultation.”

But, no, Brown would like to see the gay parade become an annual event much like the Santa Parade…….. ‘Oh, mummy mummy, can I say hello to Santa the homosexual?’

In the video, you may have noticed the New Zealand Defence Force marching in the gay parade which just goes to show how well John Key is controlling our tax dollars—I guess great minds like Key and Brown think alike; let’s normalise homosexuality by placing the military in the parade.

And of course TVNZ, Key’s liberal spin room, spun it this way:

“And in a New Zealand first, the parade featured members of the New Zealand Defence Force marching in uniform.

"It's a great opportunity for the Defence Force to demonstrate that it's a truly modern military, one that values all of its people and recognises that diversity is one of our key strengths as opposed to a weakness," said Stu Pearce of the Defence Force.”

You may have noticed the following placard in the video as well:

Brown’s cynical arrogance makes my blood boil; to take money from me and 50% of other Aucklanders who are vehemently opposed to gay marriage and use it to odiously promote it is detestable beyond belief. Would he have allowed a “Protect Marriage-One man, One Woman’ placard in the parade? I think not.

Then of course Cameron Slater, another one of Key’s liberal spin doctors, in a blog post about Grant Robinson said this:

“The flamboyant gay or butch lesbian of the past is a stereotype of a bygone era. Gays come out earlier, are no longer as isolated in their own community, and most straight people know gays & lesbians to be good people who are attracted to the same sex rather than the opposite sex.”

I don’t know where this guy has buried his head; if the following aren’t flamboyant, then I don’t know what the word means. These are all photos of the gay parade:

And then of course, this is perfect for children just like we see in the Santa Parade:

And then, according to Slater ‘straight people know gays & lesbians to be good people.’ This photo is of a gay parade in London—‘good people’ indeed:

We were debating this at work the other day with the resident poof advocate saying how good it all was while I wasn't sure. I can respect respectful people but it seems to me the parade is a bawdy sexual event and that's hardly in the same league as celebrating scientific or medical advances in a parade. Sometimes it seems there's nothing more to the gay lifestyle than shagging. I suspect that's no true but the public, as opposed to private, facade makes me wonder.

"Sometimes it seems there's nothing more to the gay lifestyle than shagging."

Brown, that's exactly it--there is nothing more to it. And I suspect that is why they have such a big problem with depression and alcoholism. And, also, that is why they don't want the word 'adultery' in marriage.

Homosexuals (particularly the men) are really "pansexuals". They are people who seek sexual gratification at anytime by any means imaginable (or indeed unimaginable). The marriage covenant of sexual fidelity is absolutely worthless to them.

Re the parade: With the "marriage equality" abomination being shoehorned thru parliament, organizers of the parade felt that the event, this year, should be a bit more low key and not so "flamboyant" as the bygone Hero Parades were. If that was "low key" I shudder to imagine what debauchery will be paraded about next year.

Here's what goes on in San Francisco, on public streets in broad daylight. These gay pride parades all eventually descent into a chasm of depravity.

Urban, thanks for the link; I can definitely use that one; that is our future, and it has got to be shown (I will post those images). Naive Kiwis have no idea what they are in for; they have no idea what they are voting for.

Yes, the Pride Parade was designed to be family friendly. Even the organiser said "We all have children and we have got to be aware of that." And of course once gay marriage and adoption are through, the family-friendly nonsense will be out the door.

Gay men are just sex machines, and as you allude to they are pansexuals (I had to look that one up); they will srew anything anywhere without any shame. When I was in high school, we had a 15-year-old homosexual who used to masturbate in front of everyone on the school bus--and he would laugh and think it was a great joke; he went on to bestiality, and then he joined the army.
