It’s all on our doorstep—top of Coromandel Peninsula

My wife and I have just got back from touring the top of Coromandel Peninsula for a few days. This was our first trip to the top and it was fantastic. On arrival in Coromandel township we were greeted by a pig hunter returning from a hunt with a massive wild boar hung over his four-wheel-drive spare tire—he appeared to be very happy.

Most of the roads on both coasts were gravel, but not bad—just a little windy. The cliff-top road from Port Jackson to Fletcher Bay was a tad scary—very narrow with a sheer drop off that wouldn’t be nice to go over.

Dont we live in the most beutiful country in the world! Good pictures...I was up that way myself in Jan.
