Democracy is screaming out for Mark Levin

The following Mark-Levin audio was posted on CrusaderRabbit a couple of weeks ago just after the American election. The salient points Levin makes in the audio are so important for the survival of democracy, it is well worth listening to again. The points he makes are not just relevant for the survival of America but for the survival of democracy throughout the world. The main so-called right-wing parties throughout the western world are no longer right wing; they are pseudo right wing; they are not conservative; they are pseudo conservative. This includes the Republican Party of America, the Conservative Party of England, the Liberal Party of Australia, and of course our National Party of New Zealand. At the gay-marriage debate at Auckland University a few weeks back one of the pro-gay-marriage debaters got up and said “I am gay and I vote National.” That statement said it all to me; when a gay says he/she votes National, we clearly understand that National and Labour are one and the same.

So how is democracy even remotely democratic when we have a National, left-wing party opposing a Labour left-wing party? For decades now we have had welfare candy and other unaffordable candy such as four-week paid holidays, etc., and socially-engineered candy being used by Labour to cynically purchase votes. And for decades we have had the National Party cowering—not standing on its former principles of social and fiscal conservatism. And just as Greece has fallen off the fiscal cliff and it is likely Spain and Italy will follow, we in New Zealand are heading in exactly the same direction—thank you liberalism.

The Levin audio that follows is long but it is worth every minute of it. For democracy to survive conservatives need to be as aggressive as Levin is; we can no longer be polite, nice people anymore; we have to bang liberals over the head; we have to get right in their face and pull them apart before they destroy everything to a point of tyranny.
